Computer Science and Networking Second Cycle - Master's Degrees Master Degree

Applicants must either possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering, or have an equivalent qualification degree as specified in the call for applications.
Students who have a Bachelor’s degree may be accepted provided they have the number of credits in the fundamental disciplines of the programme specified in the admission procedure.
A good knowledge of English (B1 Level in the European Framework for languages) is also required.

Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a degree with at least 40 ECTS credits in the following areas: Management, Economics, Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics.
An adequate knowledge of English along with a basic knowledge of Italian is also necessary, since a few classes are taught in Italian.
Successful candidates that don’t know Italian must attend a language course during their first semester.

Computer Science Third Cycle - PhD and Doctorate PhD Degree There are two different ways to enroll in the PhD programme:
Method A - Through a competitive application process
In order to apply, candidates must register online.
Method B - By supernumerary status (status 'soprannumerario') which applies to international candidates who have a scholarship from their own country.  In order to apply, please send an email to the Director and the Secretary of the programme.

Candidates will be selected based on an interview (possibly via teleconference),  their CVs, academic transcripts, recommendation letters and any other relevant documentation provided.
Every year, 10-15 students are admitted through method A. These students will be offered a scholarship covering university fees and a living allowance. Five of these students may be admitted without a scholarship. In general, five candidates are admitted via method B.

Method A - The deadline to register for the competitive application process is usually in September.
Method B - There are no deadlines to apply as a supernumerary candidate.
